Steven A. Soria
Filmmaking & Photography
On the eve of September 7th, Doctors Warren Richmmond and Keiran Emmerson errected director/cinematographer Steven A. Soria in a lab. One part Bulleit rye, one part generic vermouth, two parts Rebel Yell bourbon, and a dash of Bacon extract was the formula concocted to create this inferior Filipino-American impotent-yet-straight shooter. He has attended several film schools, is a few years shy of thirty, and is a chain smoker. In the event of his inevitably abrupt-and-forthcoming demise, he is survived by his feral k-9 daughter Raven. His earliest works include his re-imagining adaptation of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" which he starred in and co-directed with his brother Andrew in the first grade during his sixth birthday party and the stop-motion movie "Saving Plastic Ryan" wherein a great many of Steven's G.I. Joe action figures gave their lives to make their director's vision a reality. He has directed videos for Xanimo, Traveler, Barrie Rose, Bixby Knolls, Dusty Rhodes and the Riverband, Z-Trip, Dylan Trees, Breanna Wood, and Sister Rogers (most of which can be seen in the moving pictures section of our site) As a cinematographer he has photographed videos featuring Michael Nhat, King Fantastic, Tes Elations, Oona, Shana May Jackson, Rad Omen, Zero 1 (featuring Hal Sparks), Ammanda Darling and several others. Along with his partners Adora Lopez and Anthony Trujillo at the Indie Workforce, other frequent collaborators include Wendy McColm/Film Films Productions, Andrew A. Soria (brother.director.mentor.) , Joshua Clarkson/Glosolalia Films , Elise Holowicki (How To Fake It In America , Satan is my Homegirl), Jim Mahfood, Carlos Bonilla (Quix 22) , Adrienne Wanyo , Shea Vanderpoort (ACPAC productions)
